How We Protect Your Files

During Upload

When you upload a file to pdfson, it is immediately encrypted using TLS 1.3 encryption. This is the same level of security used by banks and financial institutions. The encrypted connection ensures that no one can intercept or read your files during transfer.

During Processing

Your files are processed on secure, isolated servers. Each processing job runs in its own sandboxed environment, ensuring complete isolation from other users' data. Our processing servers are located in EU data centers (europe-west1) with physical and network security measures in place.

After Processing

Once your file is processed, it is stored temporarily (maximum 1 hour) to allow you to download the result. After this period, both your original upload and the processed output are permanently deleted. We do not keep any copies or backups of your files.

What We Don't Do

• We never read, analyze, or mine your documents for data
• We never share your files with third parties
• We never use your documents for training AI models
• We never store your files longer than necessary
• We never sell any information about you or your documents
